Insurance Awards

Insurance Awards  Knights of Columbus general agents and field agents make it their business to provide the life insurance protection Knights and their families need.

They are devoted and concerned advisers, trained to be of service to Knights and their families. They are second-to-none in their willingness to help a fellow member learn how the Order’s top-rated products can protect him and his family.

The two leading general agents and two leading field agents for the calendar year 2006 were special guests at the convention of the Order’s Board of Directors. They were recognized for their outstanding performance and as representatives of all the fine work performed by their fellow agents.

The two leading general agents, pictured with family members and Supreme Knight Carl A. Anderson and his wife Dorian, were:

1. Marc Bouchard of Alberta – He met 263 percent of his quota with a volume per member of $14,900. His total gross volume was $230,774,000.

2. Robert Marlowe of Maryland – He met 213 percent of his quota with a volume per member of $7,447. His total gross volume was $104,768,000.

Achievement Award
In addition to those general and field agents listed as leaders, a special achievement award in the form of an engraved plaque is presented to all agents who equal or exceed 100 percent of their assigned quota for the calendar year. In 2006, 27 general agents and 241 field agents earned this award.

Agency Incentive Award
It is also customary to reward our top producing general and field agents through an incentive award program at the end of each year. The 2006 award was a weeklong trip to Orlando, Fla. Taking the trip last year were 45 general agents and assistant general agents, and 157 field agents along with their wives.

Supreme Knight’s Sales Club
In 2006, the top 19 general agents and top 63 field agents were recognized as members of the Supreme Knight’s Sales Club. All received attractive lapel pins with an appropriate diamond inset, in addition to an extra night in Orlando. Two general agents qualified for the 20th consecutive year.
