The Fourth Degree continues to make a substantial contribution at veterans hospitals around the United States through our “Serving Those Who Served” program.
We have Sir Knights working as volunteers in 90 percent of VA hospitals. In just one year their volunteer time totaled more than 83,000 hours. We must continue in this way to let our brave soldiers know that their service will always be remembered.
Already mentioned was the fundraising effort that assemblies are undertaking to fund the new Knights of Columbus Incarnation Dome at the National Shrine.
And this year, a major milestone was reached when membership in the Fourth Degree exceeded 300,000.
