In advance of the annual March for Life, American University Council 14465 in Washington, D.C., made pro-life signs to distribute among attendees. On Jan. 22, Knights awoke early to pass out the signs before the march began.

Cardinal Sean P. O'Malley of Boston stands with Matthew Fonte, Jimmy Simmons and Anthony Metrano of Crusader Council 2706 at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester while visiting the grave of Bishop Benedict J. Fenwick, second bishop of Boston and founder of the College of the Holy Cross. Knights made a pilgrimage with Cardinal O'Malley to the Jesuit cemetery where Bishop Fenwick is buried and participated in a brief memorial ceremony there. Cardinal O'Malley is a member of Blessed Mother Council 13338 in Delray, Fla.

Members of St. Thomas Aquinas Council 11949 at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul hand out U.S. flags, hot chocolate and a pamphlet on how the Order worked to have the words Under God added to the U.S. Pledge of Allegiance. On Presidents Day, Knights set up a booth on campus to distribute the goodies to fellow students.
