Shippagan Council 3514 donated more than $6,000 to its parish to purchase a statue of the Living Christ.

Thorold Council 2319 held a charity golf tournament Sept. 26 that raised $2,500 for charity. Local business sponsored each hole at Oaklands Golf Course in Niagara Falls and provided prizes. All participants also enjoyed a steak dinner following the tournament.

Repentigny Council 7701 built a mobile canteen that sold hot dogs and French fries throughout the community. The mobile food truck raised $1,600 for the council's pro-life charities.
